Hey, my name is Tucker and I’d like to welcome you to NHLBetsOnline.com.

I’m a huge ice hockey fan and have been for my entire life.  I was first exposed to the game at an early age, watching my older brother play in our local city league in the North West. I immediately knew that I had to play, and was signed up the following season at just four years old.  Defense was and is still my position.  I continued through high school and was selected to play for my university.  More than 20 years later, I’m still playing because I can’t get enough ice time.

As you can imagine, a hockey junkie like myself loves the NHL.  I’ve been watching for as long as I can remember.  My first exposure to the pros was when my first coach used to drill into us the importance of the Boston Bruins.  We were to don the noble yellow, black, and white in all of our games, and, to this day, I can’t play without putting on the ol’ Bruins socks.  Though Boston remains a favorite, Colorado is at the top of my list.  If anyone out there remembers the intense rivalry of the Red Wings and Avalanche through the 1990s and the brilliance of Patrick Roy, you can understand why.

So, with such love for the game, it only seems natural to fill up the time when I’m not on the ice or watching the NHL with writing about my absolute favorite sport.  Hence the blog.  Besides composing some useful guides on the NHL and Stanley Cup, I update this blog weekly with all NHL news and game previews throughout the year.  I even include odds from my favorite online sportsbooks.
